I live in rural West Virginia where I have felt out of place my entire life, but circumstances kept me here in north central West Virginia. At this point in my life I own my house and its property, and I have no plans to move out of state. The typical man in the state is into outdoors activities and team sports. Whereas I enjoy Culture events such as symphony concerts, opera, ballet, Broadway musicals and plays. I enjoy visiting historical sites such as battlefields, forts, restored towns (ex. Colonial Williamsburg), touring 19th century houses and various types of art and historical museums, garden conservatories and unique sites such as the Baltimore Inner Harbor. Music is my life. Unlike most people my age, I continue to play my musical instrument (flute) and make music in small ensembles with musician friends on a weekly basis., and occasionally perform in public. This is who I am. Finding local area men ( gay or straight) for friendship and a possible relationship, that enjoy one or more of my interests, is quite difficult. I seek a man who lives near me in West Virginia so that we can meet for meals and picnics in the summertime, attend movies and cultural events together, travel to larger cities on the Eastern coast and spend time at each other's house. As I age having a companion (college age-50 years old)) who is an excellent driver who can navigate larger cities with little to no problems would be an excellent skill to have. I am a good communicator. I freely exchange text and Emails on a daily basis, and hope my friend(s) will do the same. I'm not your typical male. I time on my hand. All that I need is an intelligent younger man to share my life with, but not a housemate.
