Hello all. I will say I’ve been on several dating apps talked to many different people and did not have any luck. Not particularly because I’m undateable or unattractive but predominantly just people saying they are looking for one thing but secretly having other motives. Which is fine but like honesty is the best policy right? I often feel when trying to date I’m manipulated by truly wanting to find love which is sad but you can imagine leaves you pretty sour after it’s happened over & over again.

I’m just a 25 year old hopeless romantic comic blerd trying to keep love alive really. My parents have always been married and together and I’m so inspired by them to honestly have the same for myself just because I’ve seen a lot of good examples of making a relationships work.

I feel like when it comes to dating everyone always seems to have the answer for you? But not for themselves.” You’re too young to be looking for love” or “ don’t look for love let love find you”. When your online dating it’s like “ don’t use that app it’s for hookups” or “ just go to the bar and meet people in real life like a normal person” when truth is no one knows the key to a relationship or dating. I for one am super introverted I don’t even drink so you won’t catch me at a place like a bar. I’m also not super into fitness so at a gym the likeliness is so low. Might be a slight rant but I just kind of feel like someone has the answers for why I’m single or don’t have luck when anyone actively dating knows how sucky the dating pool is right now. Having someone’s attention for more than a day seems a lot to ask right now lol.

But anyways about me to wrap this up: I am 25. I am from upstate New York. I finished college so now I just work. I’m a homebody though I do like to go out for dates and adventure I just prefer to be home. I’m extremely passionate and sometimes too serious but typically someone who likes to joke balances me out a lot. And I’m a good time. I love video games I have a ps5 & switch. Love horror movies and I’m a great cuddler.

My height is 5’9 which is pretty average. I’m mixed race… black & Latino. I’m a top for compatibility but open to verse bottoms if I must. 260lbs so pretty chubby. More of muscle chubby build (since I used to work out a lot)
