Hi there! I'm Marc, a 67 yo teacher and historian. I'm trying this again, searching for my needle in a haystack.

As my title suggests, I'm demisexual and prefer a deep emotional connection before I'm interested in sex. I'm also strictly a side (no anal). I realize how limiting that is, but I'm still holding out hope. As I've gotten older - and especially after the isolation of Covid - I've become somewhat lonely and would really like to have someone to share my life with. I'd ideally like to develop a romantic relationship with a younger guy (23-40 ish) living within a few hours driving distance of me - I'm based in Columbus, Ohio and also regularly travel to Chicago.

My interests include, among many other things: politics (pretty far left), US history, reading (especially queer fiction), museums, hiking, road trips, and singing karaoke badly. I love being introduced to new things as well!

I should also add that over the years I've had some struggles with mental health, primarily anxiety and OCD. I'm in a pretty good place with all of it these days, but it's a concern I felt I needed to address. On the plus side, I can deeply empathize with the various mental health issues that affect so many of us in the queer community.
