Hey all! If this is not the appropriate place to ask this question, I apologize in advance, but would appreciate any input or advice anyone can offer!

I have been on Reddit for a few years, but have been away for a while. I don't remember this being the case before (but perhaps it was and I just don't remember), but I am I'm a few different groups, including a few Gay NSFW boards that share pics and vids. I have noticed recently that the majority (maybe 90% ) of the vids posted (in multiple groups), have no sound. Even the ones where you can see the guy talking, there is still no sound. I have ran across a few that DO have sound however, which is why I am asking for your experiences. Is it actually the case that most nsfw vids have no sound? It's fine if that's the case, I just feel like I am missing out on something lol.

I have the same issue in the browser on reddit.com on my PC as well as the Reddit App on Android.

On the flip side, I have noticed that all of the vids that are NOT NSFW, seem to have sound! So I was wondering if there is a setting I am missing? Or if this is actually just kind of how it is?
