MC had been YC’s straight best friend since the beginning of time… well, not quite that long, but since childhood. They were always having sleepovers, visiting each others home, going out together, joined by the hip.

So when YC came out? Of course MC was as supportive as possible, even is MC wouldn’t accept himself…

You see, MC had been brought up by his aunt as his father was always at work, being a busy CEO, and his mother was always away in another country or state, being a high ranking FBI psychiatrist.

And try as she might, MC’s aunt couldn’t overrule his father’s strongly catholic beliefs. This led to internalised hatred and guilt within MC, and no amount of money could change his crippling sense of self worth.

MC’s father owned a large estate, and rented out the homes within to other rich people for extortionate prices. So when the two lesbian (or gay) moms/dads moved into the house next door to MC, his father couldn’t say no, as they were willing to pay nearly double.

This led to MC being near brought up by them and shielded by them, hence why YC And MC became such good friend.

But when MC becomes an adult, he is kicked out by his father when he is found with gay pornography. But MC lied to his friend, saying he just wanted to spread his wings and see the world.

This is why MC shows up at YC’s door at 11pm one night crying in the rain after being evicted for missing his rent.

How does YC fix this? He of course offers to pay MC to be his fake boyfriend to keep his moms off his back, but what happens when MC develops feelings for YC AND YC’s already pre eland feelings deepen….
