Is 16 years too big of an age gap?
Post Body

I asked this in dating advice Reddit group yesterday, but I guess I would like a gay man’s prospective. I’m a 22 year old male, I’m gay and haven’t had very much luck in the dating department because I usually went after emotionally unavailable guys my age. So a few weeks ago I matched with a very handsome man. 38. And he is absolutely breathtaking in every way. Handsome, intelligent, interesting, worldly. He does the sweetest things, reads to me in French. Cuddle dates on the couch. Writes sweet notes for me in his gorgeous calligraphy.

I would love to date him. And if the right situation presents itself I would in a heartbeat. I guess my question is to be sure I’m not pushing too hard? I always was the person that chased rather than be chased.

As well as facing judgment of dating an older man and avoiding all the ugly assumptions. (If we were to go steady)

I appreciate any advice that you all can give ☺️
