Theres another sub, i wont name names, where guys are expressing their feelings of shock and horror and disbelief at donalds win, and how they left red states and are planning to leave the us altogether and how they are having a complete meltdown. I got heavily downvoted for my comment “joe was not good, kamala is not a good candidate, this was to be expected”. Honestly, the last couple of weeks at any mention of close race, or polls that put kamala ahead i just rolled my eyes. I knew donald would win, i knew it, and all i did to know it was to analyse the information from the whole of the disaster that was joe since he was elected. Did nobody else objectively expect this result?
Why did they not expect this? How was this not obvious to anybody? Do i have special powers?
I live in cape town, an annoyingly liberal place so mentioning any objective statement about how donald would win is not a good way to make or keep friends. So ive not had much conversation about it.
