Newbie, what to expect?

Read that you shouldn’t start off wearing 24/7. I got my cage late this morning, washed it & put it on right away. I did it because a dom told me too. I was testing it out today & there is no way I can wear this at work. I’ve excepted the fact that I will have to hold 1 key & admit if I take it take care of myself to report it & except the consequences. Is there any things I need to look out for or pay attention to? Thank you.
