Recently I stubbled across a difficult time where I realized I was, almost exclusively, alone. Because of this, I tried making new friends (on apps cause my lazy and scary ass won't go outside to talk to new people) but it was really hard.

I downloaded more than 10 apps and talked to several people but nothing worked. I was called a few slurs, sent dickpics just because I had a #gay on my profile, and even got love bombed.

My question is, how can I make new friends online? I know it's better to talk to people face to face and whatever, but honestly I only have one friend and men around me are not really polite.

What apps should I use? Maybe subreddits? (That's not really working) Where should I start? I really want to talk to new people and maybe even develop a relationship but I just don't know how.
