I have some questions about planning a weekend trip the second week of November to Gatlinburg. I have been to Gatlinburg when i was much younger but now want to take my wife there for our 17th anniversary. We'd ideally like to stay in a cabin close to the main portion of Gatlinburg but are curious as to which ones are the best options for couple who do not have a 4x4/awd vehicle. I've looked at several cabins but can't really determine which ones are best suited for us or require the use of a 4x4 to to get to it. Another question would be, how much of a selection food wise is there for a couple who are allergic to dairy? This is something we've fought with for vacations in some areas due to the limited menus' that are allergen/dairy free.
