Help Accessing Healthcare with No Family Doctor. (811 and ER haven't worked)
Post Body

Hi everyone, recently moved here from NB and I am having some health problems.

I have my Quebec health card, but no doctor. The problem is that for the last few weeks, I've been getting chest pain. I went to the Hull Hospital and waited for 15 hours and never saw a doctor.

They gave me an ECG and took my blood pressure, both of which were normal. So, I know I'm not having a heart attack. But obviously, chest pain for several weeks is not good and I'd like to see a doctor and ideally get some tests done.

Does anyone know the best way to access healthcare in this situation?

I have tried 811 option 3 several times and it has never worked and the ER didn't work. So, what does this community suggest?

I have private health insurance and I'm willing to pay (within reason). I've tried searching on Reddit and online but I'm honestly overwhelmed and could use some guidance. Thank you in advance. It

TLDR: Having chest pain and I need to figure out the best way to get tests taken after 811 and the ER were unsuccessful.
