So I had an endoscopy today where afterwards my doctor said bc she didn’t see any food in my stomach that I probably have rapid gastric emptying instead of delayed gastric emptying? I looked up the symptoms to it and I don’t relate to most of them.
I relate more to gastroparesis symptoms and Im still pushing for a GES but I guess my question is does there have to be food in your stomach during an upper endoscopy for you to have gastroparesis?
Also for the record my symptoms are: - no appetite - acid reflux/heartburn - nausea - early satiety - chronic abdominal pain
