T1D and range of symptoms lately, not diagnosed yet
Post Body

So my symptoms started in earnest about 2 months ago. At night around 9pm I had pretty bad chest pain I’d say both left center and right, it would last about 3 hours, then it seemed like I’d be able to pass some gas or my stomach would start rumbling and I’d feel better. Eventually had a bad enough episode that I looked online and obviously a lot of things recommend you go to the ER with bad chest pain, so I ended up going in. EKG and the heart enzyme test came back with no issues (yay). Get released, go to my PCP, cardiologist, and GI specialist. They mostly think it’s GERD, get prescribed 40mg of omeprazole twice a day, famotidine as needed, and BMX Magic Mouthwash. Also told to pretty much have a high fiber diet and take diet supplements. Soonest endoscopy is November 30th (fuck). I’m mostly ok for the next week and a half except constipation and the feeling things aren’t moving as they should. Usually able to get a poop out in mornings, had a few times where it took over a day, but no horrible chest pain and generally able to eat food. Then this last Friday I had half a Caesar salad for lunch and a very small bowl of ginger carrot soup. 2 hours after that I started to have the chest discomfort again but still was able to get through it. Woke up in the morning with weird/intense pain where my left shoulder meets torso and in my right arm above the back of the elbow. This lasted all day and didn’t improve much so went to ER again, they check heart symptoms again and send me home without any changes. Yesterday after getting home I started having nausea, diarrhea, and more intense pain in like my mid to lower back area and some hot and cold feeling chills which was all new. Today much the same, I’ve been just eating small bites of white rice when I can and pounding water (dehydrated). It’s hard to eat anything at all it feels so dry in my mouth. Also forgot to mention my blood pressure was quite high in hospital in case anyones had that too, my stress level has been very high in general since Friday. They added a blood pressure med, metoclopramide (because I asked about GP specifically), told me to lay off raw veggies but continue with high fiber diet and fiber supplements, and moved my endoscopy up to October 25th. Im in general extremely scared and anxious that things seemed to get so much worse (though I do think my discomfort and acidly feeling in the center of my chest specifically has improved). Anyone have any advice or experienced any of this? Or even if you might be available to chat, like I said my anxiety is sky high, anything helps. Thanks beautiful people and I salute each and every one of you fighting through things like this and worse.
