If the gastric stimulator doesn’t help can they take it out?

I feel like the answer is yes but idk how invasive that surgery is. I really want to try it but I have MRI’s pretty frequently so I wouldn’t be able to have those and if the stimulator didn’t work I’d be annoyed keeping it and not being able to go back for MRI’s when it’s not doing anything. If it does work I’ll just get CT’s and deal with it but MRI’s are more accurate for what I get imaging for.
