Ok, like the title suggests, I'm a little confused by this.
So, I've been having some stomach pains and watery diahrrea for the Christmas weekend.
I'm gonna start off by saying that I'm going to my doctor ASAP tomorrow, when they open (they were closed today), but any input would help me get more details to them.
Anyways, today I noticed something different. When I have a bowel movement, my diahreea has become somewhat more solid again (I guess "muddy" would be the more accurate statement), but something seems off.
While some of it sinks straight to the bottom of the bowl, some of it stays floating. Further more, the floating bits look a little "stringy" (if that makes any sense).
Is there a technical term for this? Or a condition that causes stool to float AND sink in the same bowel movement?
BTW, I tried Googling it, but the results were just articles related to floating stool, not floating AND sinking stool in the same bowel movement.
