I went down the rabbit hole tonight whilst in pain and convinced myself I have pancreatitis.
For the last 3 days I’ve had on/off upper left side abdominal pain and bloating. At first I was convinced I had pulled a muscle in my abs, but when I cough it’s not sore.
So I’m currently in Thailand working remotely, and I have a pay day ritual where I will treat myself to a nice meal every month when I get paid. I’m not fat and I train 1-2 times per day. But this month when I was paid I went on a bit of a binge eating lots of donuts, fried food, noodles, had 3 beers. So looking back it would appear that this would in fact have induced a flare up which makes sense.
I’m going to go the doctor in the morning just for peace of mind as I’m travelling by myself in a foreign country.
Is it normal to feel really bloated especially in like the upper left abdominal side, and hurt to sit down on the couch. Also, I took ibuprofen earlier as it said to take to help with pancreatitis, and like few minutes after doing this I started getting the sharp pains in my stomach again. Then I read online that nsaids trigger gastritis 🤣
I just drank some gaviscon and that seemed to calm me.
