My long story made short for yall. I have a drinking history and junk food problem.
I'm 36 M, •Drank about 182 beers a month for over 10yrs ( up until 4 months ago, now I'm down to 48 beers a month.) • Ate fast food almost every day • I'm skinny fat so I'm 5'10 164lbs.
Two weeks ago I went to my Doctor for symptoms • Bloated • Nausea •Fullness VERY quickly (Eat one piece of bread and be full) and it would hurt •Burping a TON •Burning sensation in my stomach and random pains throught my intestines •IBS fro? the alcohol. No blood if I did vomit and no blood or dark stools.
My doctor did not actually test me but from my symtpoms he told me Gastritis and put me on Pantoprazole 40mg. I took it but also researched.
Here's what I found out that has eliminated my issues.
Stuff I take: • probiotics 2xs a day. 1 in the morning 1 in the evening. • Slippery Elm bark powder (Coats the stomach and the intestines). Slippery Elm helps a TON with the GI and stomach after research. • GTs Kambucha tea Probiotic Drinks. (It's fermented and kills H.pylori on contact) 1 a day.
How I ate: At 1st I ate very bland foods. • chicken & Rice. Only season I used was Cumin as Cumin is great for the stomach. •Toast with Jelly. •Greek yogurt • I took Fibre powder when I ate a bad meal 1x a week. Like pizza, I'll take Fibre powder with half a cup of water before eating as Fibre coats the food.
Pro Tip: •Don't drink ANYTHING 30 minutes before you eat. • Don't drink anything 1hr after you eat. When you eat your body naturally creates HCL hydrochloric Acid and that's what kills H pylori and helps your stomach stay the natural way. IF you do drink water then it dilutes the acid. H pylori burrow in your stomach lining and it won't do anything to them.
I've been on this meal plan for atleast a week and it's taking all of my symptoms and pain away.
Only downside I had was jitters in the morning so I took a spoonful of Chocolate to eliminate that.
I will continue thus road and continue ot cut out all alcohol
