Just had my first appointment and I'm freaking out

I'm 44m cw 380.. I was hoping to get a sleeve but my Dr. Strongly suggests the rny bipass. I don't have any outlying stomach issues.. I guess I'm worried because it's more cutting and idk what dumping is.. I'm just trying to wrap my head around all of this. Thanks for any replies.
