I switched to Garmin Instinct Solar a week ago today from an Apple Watch. I used an Apple Watch for every bit of 6-7 years. The instinct is far superior for my needs, battery life is bar-none to the Apple Watch (I haven’t taken it off since charging it to 100% exactly a week ago and I just hit 50%, GPS is on, heart monitor is also on), it simple and functional and the app is awesome. Still get all the same notifications and it feels less intrusive. Also being active military, it blends in and looks more “tactical” and therefore more professional in my opinion. If anyone is on the fence about it, do it!
