[edit] Ultimately decided to grab the Venue 3. Thanks very very much for the input. Definitely helped. [/edit]
Heya folks. I currently have a fairly old Fitbit Sense and I think I’d like to replace it with a Garmin Watch but I’m having trouble really getting a grasp of which watches offers what features.
I have an iPhone and work effectively locks me into that ecosystem unfortunately but that’s fine as I don’t really want the phone and text features in a watch. All I’m really after are the Fitness tracker qualities.
I’m not an athlete by any means but as a lifter and someone who needs to keep in Good health for my work I primarily focus on heart rate monitoring/cardio activity, calorie burn estimates, workout tracking, sleep tracking and other health metrics. I basically just want a watch with a long lasting battery that will give me insights into my level of activity in a day.
I was looking at the Venue 3 but I’m honestly not even sure if this watch has the features I want or not.
Also Fitbit does have everything nicely put together in its app and I’m curious to know what Garmin offers uses on this front; displaying tracking data and bundling it all together in an easy to read kind of summary of your day.
Thanks!
