Hi. I have a regular Fenix 6 that I’ve been using for maybe three weeks. It says that I have a VO2 max of 59, or “superior”. It also says I have a resting heart rate of 46 BPM, I wear my watch while I am sleeping. This seems strange to me, because I am a physically unremarkable 18 year old. I’ve started running around two or three months ago, and my fastest mile right now is around 8:30. Still, I’m not in superior cardiovascular fitness levels. But when I manually measure my heart rate and compare it to the watch’s reading, it seems accurate. Is a VO2 max of 59 normal for me?
