Silicone band allergy after a month and a half?

I’ve had my 6X for a month and a half and I have worn in religiously without issue. I take it off to shower and use that time to also rinse off the watch and wipe down the back and the band.
The last 2 days my wrist has been irritated underneath the band with redness and some peeling skin.
I read about people having reactions to the bands but after this long? Anyone else experience? Not sure what to do except get a non silicone band?
