Returned to Garmin 2 weeks ago by treating myself to a new Forerunner 265s for my birthday after being on a Pixel Watch for almost 2 years. I am in love with this watch. DSWs are a God sent, and really motivate me to run more often and vary my workouts. Currently having it set for training for a half marathon in 3 weeks near me and I'm excited about improving said time :)
Today I was feeling really freaking good after being off work for two days and decided to run a 10k. Had a goal of under 48 minutes since that has been a personal hurdle that I've been trying to pass for a while. Pace target range of 7:15-8:00/mile, and I felt great. I don't know what it is about the watch saying I'm in range/out of range, but it's a huge motivator to keep pushing myself as a person with ADHD. Completely smoked my PR and the goal I had for myself (in my opinion). I feel ready and confident for my half marathon coming up, and I'm hoping I can break that PR as well.
I know it's not the most impressive time specially compared with other users, but I'm too excited/happy, and I didn't have someone to share it with, since my GF doesn't doesn't enjoy running or any talk of it.
