Treadmill running with GPS going crazy?

Went training on the treadmill today. I believe I did everything on the Garmin as I have done in previous trainings (Indoor run) but today I got the GPS figure below despite choosing the indoor run setting on the watch. Of course it messed up all the distance measurements. Anyone know what I’ve done wrong if anything? Thanks!

That's just GPS error. If you're in a fixed location it'll just end up tracking the errors in position accumulated across the whole activity

That's exactly my point. You don't use GPS indoors because there's nothing it can track except error.
