FR 965 Screen protector

Hey folks- just bought a 965 and based on reviews that the screen kinda pops out I went out and bought the IQ shield screen protector.
My only worry is that water may seep between the protector and the screen. Has anyone had any issues like this? I plan to use this for swimming and also don’t really plan to take off when showering.
Any insight appreciated thanks
