Just got my first Gargoyle Gecko! What’s the deal with Lighting?

I was wondering since I got him at the expo today, the breeder I got him from said he didn’t need lighting or heating. Not even UVB! I have had a uromastyx before and I looked it up and online they said they needed UVB. I was wondering if you guys could point me in the right direction
