Just bought our first house and I've never had a garden in all my years of renting. Not a bad start I hope... before/after
Post Body

I've just spent the last two years renting a flat with an amazing view of some very well kept and loved allotments. The flat itself had no outdoor space so it's been amazing slowly realising and then think oh God that all this outside space is mine to look after.

We have inherited a buddleja at the bottom of the garden that appears to be tied to the back neighbours fence. It doesn't look unstable so I was wondering if anyone could shed any light on why this might be? I've guessed to stop the branches drooping and spreading out?

Also, we found an old gnome buried at the bottom of the buddleja tree. My partner is convinced it's cursed but I'm pretty sure he is sound.

Any suggestions welcome or anything you notice I should sort out πŸ’š

Not a bad start. I used to love gardening with my grandad he’d of been proud of that hard work
