Tree recommendations
Post Body

I'm going to plant a couple of trees in the spots marked 'x', a few meters from the boundary. The main aim is a bit of privacy, so I'd like some specimens that will grow reasonably quickly to a good size and with a decent canopy, but I don't want anything ending up enormous. I'll plant up beds underneath and around them. So I'd like 'good neighbours' that give some visual interest and wildlife value. The camera is looking north and we're in the West Mids, soil nothing unusual. We've already got three fruit trees so I'm not looking for more! I'm also planning to plant a native hedge all around the boundary. I've been considering a lime, crab apple, perhaps strawberry tree, and liked what I read about Siberian pea trees. I'm also interested in recommendations of places to buy.
