Last year we dug out a section for planting veg, built a raised bed this year so have tried to turn it and another border I dug out next to it to a wildflower area. Have added lots or seed bombs and mixes to the area and am hoping for the best, there is a lot of grass springing up from next door (I swear the woman is an accidental gardening god, she never tries but everything in her garden just grows - lawn is rediculously lush, she liked our veg patch and so threw some old vegetables on the floor in her garden and everything came up crazily and produced masses)
Anyway, do I pull up the grass growing or let the area be? Will the wildflowers survive with the grass? I would assume yes, but have no idea and so have gone half heartedly at it occasionally
