Straight & Narrow Lilly Pilly

Hi all. I’ve got a row of S&N lilly pillies that have grown very quickly. I did a heavy side prune about 6 months ago and they’ve thickened up, but aren’t growing out anymore and there is now a gap between them. They’re just continuing to grow upwards. Any suggestions on what I can do to encourage more width? (Eg, do I cut the top off?) It’s to hide a super ugly school building behind, so the width is just as important as the height.
