Considering moving gym from inside out to the garage
Post Body

I have my home gym in a spare bedroom that is approximately 128sq ft. To get more ceiling height and have more overall space, I’ve been strongly considering moving things to the garage.

I have a 2 car garage and would still need to park one car that’s infrequently used. That leaves me with roughly 160sq ft of dedicated gym space. Currently inside I store some things on the ground that take up about 15sq ft. So all in I’m estimating gaining about 47sq ft of space.

Is that space worth it? I’m thinking yes, but also live in Montana with brutal winters. My garage is fully insulated and has 1 small window and does not have any 240v outlets. Any tips, tricks or insight would be greatly appreciated!
