Hi all. I have 2 remotes for a Legacy 650 garage door opener. I have changed the batteries in both, and have tried reprogramming the remotes several times. I hit the program button until the blue light appears, release, then the long purple LED continues to flash despite pressing the remote buttons twice like the manual says. Nothing happens. Then, it flashes red a few times and stops. Any ideas on how to get the remotes to work?

I have also checked the safe - t beams and both are working correctly. I should also mention that the garage door itself works fine - I only have a single button on the wall and that works great. And I have unplugged/plugged back in the opener itself which did not help.
