Holding button doesn't work
Post Body

Hello

I have a garage door with a mind of its own. Sometimes it works perfectly. Opens and closes like it should. Many days, I open it up, and when I go to close it, it acts like something is blocking the sensors. I check to make sure they are aligned, nothing blocking them and the lenses are clean. And if I hold the button down it'll close all of the way. But some days (like today) even holding the button down it either won't close or will close half way and then start going back up. It seems like this is at random. No clue what to do

Yea it will stop or reverse depending on make/model. It’s telling the machine there’s a break in the photo eyes

Dirt can get behind the lens, staple pinching wire, bad contact at power head, number of things with the eyes
