Astro A50’s For Xbox Series X Audio Help.
Hey guys, Firstly wanted to say Merry X-Mas and a happy new year, but anyways I just got a pair of Astro A50’s Xbox/PC. I plug them in set everything up and sadly the audio just sounded muffle which shocked me. Can anyone please help/direct me in the right direction to get rid of the muffled sound and obtain the crip quality A50’s promise.
I have tried the firmware update, went to play a game , same issue so I plugged the headset back into my laptop, opened the ACC(Astro Command Centre) and got a notification for another update, updated it again and still the same thing, am I doing anything wrong on the firmware update side of things …?
I’ve also restarted my xbox , plugged the USB into a different USB port on the console and still no change…?
I firmly believe it has something to do with a firmware update and maybe I’m missing something , but according to ACC it’s already up to date. So can someone please inform me of the Firmware Version for both the Base Station and the Headset and other suggestions that may fix this problem.

I don’t know if you had this answered already, but I have had a50s for a few years. Try listening to music on them, if the audio doesn’t sound good, you might have a firmware problem. If you updated the firmware properly, then you might just have a bad pair. I had a pair of a50s for 3 years and they crapped out on me. I bought a new pair from Amazon and they wouldn’t charge. I tried for DAYS to fix them. They have absolutely the worst support in the world and their website doesn’t work to submit help. All around, a very shit company. I got a replacement from Amazon and the new ones work great. I really like the product honestly, despite people not recommending them for a multitude of reasons, which I tend to agree, but as far as wireless headphones with mic go, B-
