Tyler McVicker (previously Valve News Network) claims the "White Sands" project is Half-Life 3, and is related to the 'HLX' codename found in datamined files over the past few years.

Video claims the game has been in development for years, the protagonist is HEV-wearing and that it is obviously still in development today (is this the longest running HL3 dev cycle so far?)

EDIT: The title says 'claims' but Tyler only claims he personally thinks it's Half-Life 3 in the video. Keep in mind that there is no confirmation of this being the game's title - we just know it's a flatscreen Half-Life game coming after Alyx.
