Post Body

I use the laptop for day trading, so lagging displays are really frustrating. I have had three external monitors attached in the past, and just replaced a really old one with a 4K. The first works fine, plugged into the laptop HDMI port. It's at 3840x2160 and 60Hz,

The new 4K monitor I just added will only work at 3840x2160 at 30Hz with terrible lag daytrading. If I set it to 60Hz it defaults to 1920x1080.

I have tried connecting the 2nd monitor several ways. HDMI cable through USB C hub, and HDMI through USB 3.2 adapter. No dice. My cables are fine, they came with the monitors and I have interchanged them.

Is there a USB hub/adapter that will support 60Hz 4K, or a setting on computer that will allow this? Or a HDMI "splitter" that would allow for both monitors to perform at 60Hz/max resolution?

thanks!
