Choosing my first gaming laptop

I've decided to pull the trigger and go for my first gaming laptop.
The two choices I have are -
AORUS 15G KC-8US2130SH ($1899)
or
AORUS 15G KB-8US2130 ($1699, Discounted from $2499)
I know the specs are better on the newer one, but I'm not sure spending the extra $200 is worth it. I also like the older model has a mechanical keyboard as well. Maybe there is a better option I am missing? I'm located in Canada.
