Is it worth it to wait and see what the Lenovo Legion 5 Pro has to offer? The problem I am facing is that the Asus ROG Strix G17 has Ryzen 9 while the 5 Pro only has up to Ryzen 7 and we still do not know what kind of RTX 3000 GPU it will use for its variations.

Other notable difference is that the Strix has FHD 300Hz while the 5 pro has QHD 165Hz and it features the new 16-inch 16:10 aspect ratio, it also has G-Sync in its display.

Knowing that the starting price for the 5 Pro is $999, maybe you can get the RTX 3070 and Ryzen 7 variation at roughly the same price point as the Strix ($1799, based on the Newegg website)?

I am asking because it might not be worth it to wait for the 5 Pro if the performance is NOTICEABLY better on the Strix because of the Ryzen 9 and just settle for that.

I do not care for the ram and storage as it is upgradeable in the future.
