I’ve been considering a gaming laptop for a while. I usually work with Macs but obviously that’s not an option for gaming specifically.

I don’t need anything complicated truly but I feel so lost on which is the best laptop for me. I’m willing to invest in something as long as it holds out for a long time.

Budget: Less than 2K, ideally around 1500

Gaming: Online games like Genshin/Fortnite, Variety of steam games, and Sims with custom content

Other requirements: I don’t think I want a PC because I want the convenience of travel. I’d prefer a light laptop that’s not too big. Portability over a large display. I want to be able to dock it to my work monitor if necessary.
