HP laptop practically unusable after BIOS update.

Had a BIOS update and now I get the laptop doesnt start. I get the first screen 90 out of a 100 start attempts and the second screen 9/100 starts. The 1/100 it does start like normal but then freezes after 5 minutes. Fml. What. Should. I. Do ?
Please be kind and dont tell me to flash the GPU and rearm the flux capacitor. I am computer terminology illiterate.
