So I had to sell my desktop because I'm moving and can't take it with me (out of state) so I was looking to pick up a gaming laptop so I could still game with friends until I get all settled.

I've been looking at multiple brands and reading this sub Reddit regarding brands. I was originally looking at MSI or Asus. I see a lot of people recommending legions as well.

I'll be picking it up at Best Buy as I have some store credit there. My budget is around 1400 ish. I mentioned the price because I have read on this sub that certain brands like msi, only the higher end models are good.

Ideal specs would be i7 16tb with upgradable memory and a 4060. 1tb SSD would be nice but I can make do with 512 .

Any help would be appreciated!

Edit/update: I just wanted to thank everyone for their help. I ended up going with a legion 7i. I got an open box excellent condition for 1024. Total savings of 675 from brand new. Picking it up today!
