Very long story short, someone close to me needs a laptop to do online gaming but doesnt have a ton of money to spend. So I promised I'd help them by researching it.

So to be frank, my experience is in desktops. Love em, built a number of them. But laptops I know alot less about othe then they have alot less ability to change things out. I do know that if you put the word "Gaming" on a product you can charge a premium.

So can anyone give me any advice about what decent specs look like for a middle of the line gaming lap top? Or some good sites to go to find those kinds of laptops for decent prices for someone on a bit of a budget?

The main thing they want to do with it is play alot of the more popular games both on and offline while using voice chat. So voice chat in discord while playing things like Minecraft, Stardew Valley, and Zombie Army Trilogy all on medium settings.

Any advice would be loved.
