This may just be for my unit, so take it with a grain of salt. I have the RTX 4090 with the I9-13980HX.
- Undervolted in bios by -0.80MV.
- Manual mode - GPU sliders set to max - CPU set PL1 to max 80W.
- Disabled 4 E-cores so running on 12 E-cores total.
I have not used MSI Afterburner or any other utility.
With this, I have gotten 21,800 on Timespy. 43,600 on Firestrike and 26,300 on Firestrike Extreme - both are some of the top scores on 3D Mark with a 4090 and tops when combined with the CPU. Same goes with Wild Life and Night Raid.
Can get more performance if using Afterburner and Throttlestop I am sure, but I wanted to challenge myself with using only what I could tweak in BIOS and Armourycrate.
Tried switching off a P-core and got comparable scores, but a bit lower. It does seem that these new Intel chips are a bit overkill for the hardware, when you can get better scores turning off cores and limiting their power limits.
Everything runs great.
