Sunday Gold was released today, I've only played the first few hours but it's pretty cool.

The presentation is pretty amazing, it got a bunch of comparisons to Disco Elysium in previews but aside from a bit of portrait art it's pretty different. Personally I'd compare it more to Jamie Hewlett's art, and as a big fan of that style this game is perfect.

I'm only an hour or so in and the worst bit has been the accents. As someone living in the area it's hard to not just notice the little inflections that each character shouldn't have in their speech. The main character isn't so bad but one of the other main characters, Sally Wheeler, really sounds like someone from America/Canada doing a bad impression. Pretty much every side character so far is similar too.

If you're not from or have lived in London it's probably not as jarring but it's the thing stopping me from falling head over heels for this game.

Anyone else playing this? I don't think it's getting much coverage aside from a few reviews.
