I really don't replay games, especially narrative type games that have a start and end to the narrative. I can sort of get into new game for some type of games, but you won't see me playing it over unless there is significant differences due to some game mechanic.
I see games that devs assure are exactly the same, and players buy both versions for both consoles either at the same time or a month or they may wait till the other one goes on sale and purchase it then..
I really don't understand it, at all.
If you are an obsessive collector, I can get that, I think, but usually it's just a regular dude.
I can sorta understand getting the console version, and then getting the (hopefully) better looking, moddable PC version when it's released, but even so I can't imagine a reason for reliving the same experience. I just wait for the PC personally, or if I can't wait I play the console version, and maybe look at a Demo of the PC version.
I'm not trying to offend anyone, I asked someone this today and they got hella mad and started complaining that it was their money and I shouldn't judge them.
I really would like some explanation if there is one.
