I'm not a multiplayer shooter fan. I've played games for over 30 years but from Wolfenstein 3D to Call of Duty my skills in this genre have just never been that great. Putting me on a team with other people depending on me isn't a good thing. Also the super-competitive often-belligerent attitude in today's multiplayer shooters doesn't appeal, so when I play a shooter, I go through the single player campaign.
In (somewhat) modern times, I've played through Halo 3 and the first COD Modern Warfare. They both had pretty good single-player campaigns in my opinion (at least worth a sale price), so there's a barometer if anyone is interested. (Halo 3 had an engaging story, and while MW's was a little disjointed, the variety of missions and presentation was good.)
What are some other shooters (available on the 360) with a good single-player campaign that I can keep an eye out for on sale or such? Thanks for your advice, Reddit.
