So. I played with some friends earlier this week and it just made me melancholy. The days when I used to go from game to game finding allies wherever I went, fucking shit up. I don't think it's possible to do that these days, i mean fucking shit up, sure. Finding allies? Everyone seems so self absorbed and obsessed but also. The best one. Unobservant.
I made a post the other day, but I can safely say I didn't really have a game in mind. Sure I had the mindset for teaming up, but no game. I do now. Albion Online. I am enjoying it immensely. Of course you'd only really enjoy it if you like choose your own path style of games. With Slower, not slow, slower combat. Over the now hyper popular action rpg flip, floaty epic nonsense with endless numbers streaming over enemies heads. I mean. Don't get me wrong. I love that too But i definitely missed this pace.
Like I said in my last post. Skill doesn't matter. It's how well you can read and interact with others that wins the day in my book.
I play Front line defender class of character. I invited a friend or two, but I'm not gonna count on them, they aren't reliable.
I dream of the day I find a healer type of individual, but. Don't get big headed on me over there. Like I said in my last post I can do it all. But. Sadly not at the same time.
