ContraPoints is quickly becoming one of my favorite youtubers. It's nice to see someone taking such a critical stance on many topics, while being crass and irreverent when he's calling out the bullshit. This video is about one of those concepts that gets thrown around quite a lot in social justice circles, and yet no one seems to know what it actually means: Cultural appropriation. I don't think we're any closer to having a 'theory of cultural appropriation', but at least it's refreshing to see someone trying to actually criticize the concept from a 'progressive' point of view, rather than the reactionary crap that always comes from the alt-right idiots that seem to be so abundant on youtube.
