Social Autopsy was an awful kickstarter project by Candace Owens that aimed to maintain a database of harassment. By doxxing private information and ending anonymity they hope to break the internet, curbing online bullying.

Gators quickly got wind of it and blamed radical feminist SJWs. The predictable cabal of KiA, channers, and kiwifarm descended on the project with their usual fervor. Over 36 KiA threads in 4 days. The earliest and most popular threads are the usual SJW-hate 'jerk.

Then it gets interesting. News broke that (gasp) "SJWs" had done everything possible to oppose this project. Randi Harper wrote an open letter that details much of those efforts including Zoe Quinn calling to explain the problems with the project and others getting the kickstarter suspended.

Owens disliked criticism and her tweets became erratic. She suggested Zoe Quinn runs GamerGate (since Quinn's phoning and gators hate mob descending coincided) and then shifted to saying the harassing gators were all Quinn sockpuppets. She did a sympathetic interview with harassment and doxxing extraordinare, The Ralph Retort. She's promised to write a GamerGate "sequel," where she "vets" the truth that Quinn and journalists are the real harassers or whatever. And anyone criticizing Owens' nonsense faces threats of doxxing and GamerGate siccing up.

Now that it's clear she'll do gator's digging for them, gators are singing a different tune.

Gators hate doxxing, until they love it

There are two main flavors here. Some users are excited by the prospect of a doxxing database that digs up new revelations for people they already hate, thus justifying their hate and doxxing retroactively.

But even more seem to have simply shifted from "doxxing database = bad, ops ops ops!" to "we shouldn't get involved so long as it hurts SJWs." Instead of a dire threat to freedom, this is suddenly all good fun.

I have a feeling she's planning a new Zoe Post ... If she still plans on running her doxxing website, she should stop while she's ahead. If she's planning to write up the next Zoe Post, she should stop being cryptic about it and get this over with.

Also, my own tinfoil hat-worthy theory: Candace is a puppet to some staunch pro-gamergate types ... though, this infighting, still doesn't solve the issue about wanting to dox people...

Candace Owens starts digging up dirt on [Zoe Quinn and Randi Harper] ... and is determined to bring to light all of the things ZQ and RH have been doing that we have been talking about for so long.

What's so funny is that if ZQ had just left candace alone none of this would have happened. Sure both her and Randi would have ended up on the databse, but who cares?

I thought we were going in on our own merit about how a doxing database is not a good idea, now we're somehow shifted gears and there's going to be an unveiling of a anti-harassment business network, of sorts????

And yes, we most certainly are against doxing, and against what Candance is trying to build. But at this moment in time she's more than willing to look the devil in the eye and call his bluff. By siding with her we're not condoning her work nor validating her platform. What we're doing is just helping bring further unethical behavior from their end come to light.

Let them fight.

This isn't something we should be involved in.

The narrative-shattering conspiracy behind it all

Again, two flavors: SJWs opposed a doxxing database either because they knew it would reveal their own secret sockpuppet-y harassment or because they want to control all the Big Money, Anti-Harassment Resources. Owens has hinted at having uncovered secret proof of GamerGate targets' indecencies and KiA has gobbled it up.

GG opposed the kickstarter since the idea seemed ripe for abuse.. and aGG oppose it because they are afraid it will expose their racket?

Call me conspiracy theorist, but Zoe is clearly threatened by her. ... Quinn has been accused of having hundreds of fake accounts and sending herself fake threats. Candace's org would be a very real threat to her

Randy and co. are buttmad that Social Autopsy didn't want to give her crew special benefits or a share of the pie.

Call me cynical but I think she's just threatened by a new crew claiming to be the experts on online harassment.

So, basically, VV and Harper want complete control of the internet harassment space and they will do everything, including harass others, to keep control over it.

Anyone else notice how terrified Ghazi seems to be by these implications? ... I wouldn't be surprised if their retarded mods are censoring discussion on the matter in an effort to "protect the narrative."

Maybe Ghazi just doesn't need 9 submissions a day to decide if doxxing is suddenly good. We certainly won't overblow this "feud" as SJWs eating themselves. It's all Action Opportunity and Ops when GG opposed it but a devastating civil war when we do, makes sense.
