And it's not because I hate preorders. Well I do, but if I think I'll buy a game regardless, I'm okay with it. But what ruins it absolutely for me is the fact that they lock content behind.
I do not preorder anymore because usually games turn out to be trash. But since they locked content behind the content, I don't feel like buying it anymore even AFTER, if it has decent reviews and it may be up my alley, because I end up being haunted by this underlying feeling of not even having the complete game.
Which then leads to me passing on almost all games with any preorder boni content unless it can be bought seperately. Which I also hate because selling done content as DLC just to make money (looking at you total war warhammer...) is pretty disgusting.
I really hate this trend.
